Special Services
The Lenten season begins with Ash Wednesday on February 22nd.
A worship service will be held at Trinity beginning at 7:30 pm. with Holy Communion and the Imposition of Ashes. We invite all to begin your Lenten Journey for this year by worshipping with us.
2012 Mid-Week Lenten Services
St. John and Trinity
We will continue our cooperative Mid-Week Lenten Services with our sister congregation, St. John’s. Services will be held on Wednesday evenings during Lent and will begin at 7:30 pm. Each congregation will hold individual services on Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday. The Host Pastor will serve as Liturgist with the guest Pastor delivering the Sermon.
February 22- Ash Wednesday - Individual Services

Wednesday, March 7 - Trinity
Wednesday, March 14 - St. John’s
Wednesday, March 21 - Trinity
Wednesday, March 28 – St. John’s
Wednesday, April 4 – Trinity - Preparatory Service
Services Begin at 7:30 PM and will be followed by a time of refreshments and fellowship.

Lenten Noon-Day Services - 2012
The Tamaqua Area Ministerial Association is sponsoring Wednesday Noon Services during the Lenten Season. It is our hope that you will attend and benefit from these Lenten devotionals. A light lunch will follow at approximately 12:30. The following is a schedule of these services:
- February 29 - Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church
- March 7– Primitive Methodist
- March 14 - First United Methodist Church
- March 21 - Salvation Army
- March 28 - St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church
Trinity United Church of Christ will be hosting the Community Good Friday service, April 6th at 12:00 noon, this will be a one hour service.

on Good Friday, April 6, 2012

Tamaqua Ministerium.
It will held at Trinity UCC and will begin at Noon.
